You will:

- Design, develop, and deploy data pipeline, storage, and query infrastructure supporting autonomous driving training and evaluation;

- Write high-quality, testable, and maintainable code to ensure robust software performance;

- Participate in peer code reviews to uphold engineering standards and drive continuous improvement in development practices;

- Enhance existing systems for greater performance, scalability, and reliability across large-scale applications;

- Monitor system health and proactively resolve issues while providing technical support to internal users; and

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and engineers to align data solutions with simulation, planning, perception, and commercialization needs.

You have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or or in a Software Engineering related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineering related occupation.

- Position requires 3 years of experience in the following:

- data structures and algorithms to optimize backend software performance and efficiency;

- backend systems and infrastructures for large-scale software applications;

- large-scale distributed systems and data processing frameworks;

- data processing frameworks to handle high-volume data pipelines;

- C++, Java, or Python; and

- SQL queries for relational database management and data retrieval.

Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
