Sr. Backend Developer

What You’ll Do

- Experiment and Build: Rapidly prototype and iterate on backend solutions, creating POCs to explore new ideas and validate use cases.

- Collaborate Creatively: Partner with frontend developers, ML engineers, and domain experts to design and deliver innovative solutions.

- Integrate Thoughtfully: Integrate AI/ML models into backend systems, optimizing their performance for scalable, real-world applications.

- Optimize and Secure: Build scalable, secure systems using AWS services and adhere to industry best practices.

- Mentor and Lead: Guide team members, sharing your knowledge and fostering a culture of curiosity and experimentation.

- Technical Expertise:

- Proficiency in Python and FastAPI for backend development.

- Strong experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, etc.).

- Familiarity with integrating AI/ML models into backend systems.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.

Extra skills that can make you stand out:

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).

- Familiarity with conversational AI, natural language processing (NLP), Computer Vision or ML based predictive models is nice to have.

- Knowledge of Docker, containerization, and debugging tools.

- Exposure to event-driven architectures and message queues (e.g., SQS, SNS, Kafka).

- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
