Cover is an AI security company developing concealed weapon detection systems. Cover's imaging technology scans students for concealed weapons in K-12 schools in the United States. Our goal is to deter school shootings by identifying concealed weapons inside of bags and underneath clothing. Our office for this hire is in San Jose, CA and requires 5 days per week in-office work.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated engineer to develop and optimize radar imaging algorithms for Cover's concealed weapon detection system. The candidate will join a strong team of engineers working across radar signal processing, real-time GPU computing, and system performance analysis to deliver a deployable commercial product.
The candidate will own the core image formation pipeline - developing 3D radar imaging algorithms, pushing them to real-time performance on GPU hardware, and building the tools needed to analyze and validate system performance. The position is expected to last for two years with high potential for growth and follow-on employment at the company.
