Summary: DSA is seeking a Chief/Cloud Architect to lead the technical architecture for secure AWS IL5 operations, tenant isolation, capacity planning, cloud modernization, and technical trade-space decisions. This role will serve as the Government’s primary technical counterpart for ensuring the solution remains secure, scalable, supportable, cost-aware, and aligned to mission growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cloud architecture strategy for AWS IL5 environments supporting operational, test, development, training, and modernization needs.
- Design and govern secure tenant isolation using account boundaries, network segmentation, identity controls, encryption, logging, and centralized ingress/egress protections.
- Support capacity planning, performance engineering, resilience, backup and recovery, environment provisioning, and cloud cost optimization.
- Provide technical leadership for modernization trade studies, architecture reviews, technology refresh, and cloud migration planning.
