About the Client

The American memorabilia manufacturer is primarily known for producing yearbooks and class rings for high schools and colleges. The company also produced photobook products for Disney’s PhotoPass photography service at theme parks and resorts. In addition to its headquarters near Minneapolis and operational offices in Owatonna, Minnesota, the customer has facilities throughout the United States.

What You’ll Do

- Develop and Review code and share feedback to keep our quality high

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features

- Participate actively in discussions, presentations, and decisions about back-end development

- Tackle bugs and address production issues

- Collaborate in an Agile team where ideas move fast and learning never stops

What You Bring

- Experience in Java programming language

- Solid background in REST, Spring Boot, security, Kafka, Elasticsearch or SOLR, AWS

- Solid understanding of Microservice architecture, Design Patterns,

- Being able to develop sustainable and long-term solutions, explain pros and cons.

- Strong troubleshooting skills, understanding performance optimization

- Competency in JPA and writing complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL

- Knowledge of using IntelliJ, Git(GitHub and GitLab), JIRA, Docker, Maven

- Proactive team player

- In-depth understanding of SDLC and CICD processes

- Availability to work till 3 pm CST

Nice to have

- Experience with e-commerce, preferably Broadleaf Commerce

English level
