Join us! The GoFundMe team is searching for our next Senior Manager, Software Engineering, Integrity to help lead the engineering team that protects donors and campaign organizers across GoFundMe and GoFundMe Pro.
Candidates considered for this role will be located in the San Francisco, Bay Area. There will be an in-office requirement of 3x a week.
The Job
You will lead the software engineering team that protects donors and campaign organizers across GoFundMe and GoFundMe Pro. You will own end-to-end detection, content moderation, enforcement, moderation tooling, and appeals pipelines. You will build high-throughput systems that keep harmful content off the platform while preserving seamless fundraising for authentic causes.
You will operate in a high-stakes technical environment where automated decisions directly affect active fundraisers and donation flows. You will set rigorous precision and recall standards that balance automated intervention with human review, and you will hold the line on accuracy before models reach production.
