The Cluster to Cluster Synchronization team is working to make migrations, backups, and disaster recovery of MongoDB clusters easy and reliable. Our main focus is mongosync, a tool to synchronize two MongoDB clusters. This tool is a top priority for the company, and is used to migrate customers from on-prem MongoDB to MongoDB's cloud service, MongoDB Atlas.

Responsibilities
- Build mongosync, a database migration and syncing tool. This tool is heavily used by MongoDB Atlas (our Database-as-a-Service), as well as by on-prem customers
- Develop the MongoDB Database Tools, a set of CLI utilities for working with a MongoDB deployment. It includes tools for importing, exporting, and diagnostics
- Work closely with product, support, and engineers across the organization to collectively build features that our customers love
