About the job
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Network or Telecom Engineering or a related technical
field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in DWDM or TCP/IP or system design operations
methodology.
- Experience interpreting and validating deployment packages (including orders
and construction specs) to verify design accuracy and escalating discrepancies to engineering partners before installation.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: layer 1 optical
transmissions systems, layer 3 routing TCP/IP, wireless networking, network design, or operations.
- Experience identifying recurring errors in deployment packages or
specifications and driving feedback loops to improve design accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Experience with Linux (e.g., running commands and navigating directories).
- Familiarity with network automation tools, scripting, or SQL to query
