Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience programming in C++, Go, or Java.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure,

distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.

3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications

Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related

technical field.

8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams

and setting technical direction.

3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving

cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

Design and build the ML systems that power real-time promo personalization,

automated traffic pacing, continuous model deployment and automated user experience guardrails at Search scale.

Architect and build Seaport's next-generation AI agent platform to

autonomously plan, experiment, and optimize end-to-end user journeys across Search promo, notifications, and email.

Lead through code and design docs while setting the technical direction for

ambiguous 0-to-1 agentic growth systems. Mentor junior engineers on the team.

Partner closely with Product, UX, ML researchers, and adjacent engineering

teams to accelerate adoption of flagship Search priorities, including AI Mode, Personal Intelligence, iGA, Sign-in, and Search Subscriptions.
