Software Engineering Manager, Stubby C++

About the role

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. * 8 years of experience in software development. * 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture. * 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role. * 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role. * Experience in software development using C++, and working with concurrency or performance optimization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or related technical field. * 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization. * Experience leading a group of engineers, setting technical direction, and managing project priorities, incorporating the experience to lead a group of engineers with technical direction and priorities. * Strong technical experience in Concurrency, Networking, Performance Optimization, and Distributed Systems. * Experience or familiarity with additional programming languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
