We are looking for a highly motivated Cyber Security Engineer to join a dynamic team with one of one our clients. We're seeking someone to join Customer Authentication team as a Software Engineer in CDRR. As a valued member of the team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the authentication of E*TRADE’s ten million plus customers, is fast, and secure. We are on an exciting journey of modernizing our supported authentication factors and infrastructure for all. This includes deploying systems that support modern factors like Time-Based One-Time Passwords (TOTP), Mobile Push, and YubiKeys with the goal of increasing customer security and decreasing friction during the login process. Additionally, the team is focused on simplifying the developer experience at E*TRADE. By focusing on the use of standards-based services, we provide identity and access management frameworks, through a set of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), designed to ensure development teams can easily create customer interactions that are secure, dynamic, and seamless.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient authentication solutions of a key multitier application using Ping Access Manager, Java, Spring Boot, APIs, and related technologies.

- Develop authentication and authorization capabilities using OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP, and related standards.

- Own complex technical solutions end-to-end, from requirements and design through implementation, testing, production readiness, and support.

- Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, QA, and partner teams to evaluate technical options and deliver effective solutions.

- Create and implement testing strategies and plans to ensure thorough coverage via unit and integration tests of Access Manager code and functionality.
