Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Location/Flexibility: Hybrid. Onsite in Vienna, VA and Chantilly, VA with up to 3 days remote. Remote flexibility subject to change based on program needs.

The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reports and dashboards that transform complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders and decision-makers. The ideal candidate brings practical experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Grafana), combined with foundational knowledge in data manipulation, database connectivity, and AWS cloud infrastructure. The Business Intelligence Developer works collaboratively with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate analytics objectives and business requirements into clear, easily digestible reporting mechanisms that drive informed decision-making and support mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, and other visualization tools

- Connect to and extract data from various databases within AWS cloud infrastructure (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, RDS)

- Perform data manipulation, transformation, and preparation to ensure data quality and accuracy for reporting purposes

- Translate business requests and data analytics objectives into demonstrable, user-friendly reporting mechanisms

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and define key performance indicators (KPIs)

- Develop and maintain data models, queries, and ETL processes to support dashboard and reporting requirements

- Ensure reports and dashboards are optimized for performance, usability, and accessibility

- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making

- Document reporting processes, data sources, and dashboard functionality for knowledge sharing and maintenance

- Provide training and support to end-users on dashboard navigation and data interpretation

- Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues, working with technical teams to resolve discrepancies
