About The Role

The Business Systems Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving enterprise platform architecture solutions that support scalable, secure, and efficient business operations. This role partners with IT and business teams to solve complex technical challenges, lead architecture initiatives aligned with defined functional strategies, and support modernization efforts, including AI enablement, automation, integrations, and cloud transformation.

This role exists to create a more connected, reliable, and scalable operating platform across the systems that run our Finance, People/HR, Revenue Operations, and IT processes. The architect will lead through ambiguous cross-functional problem so teams can operate with greater speed, visibility, and confidence. The architect must operate with a high degree of independence, providing technical leadership for architectural decisions while aligning solutions to business objectives, security requirements, and operational standards.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

- Convert ambiguous stakeholder needs into prioritized projects with measurable success criteria.

- Own requirements intake, discovery, process mapping, impact analysis, and scoping for cross-functional business systems initiatives.

- Finalize solution designs and coordinate end-to-end technical implementation, including test planning, end-user UAT, defect resolution, deployment, post-deployment validation, and historical data reconciliation.

- Own ongoing data quality, including establishing monitoring, cleansing, validation, migration/backloading, and reconciliation as gaps are identified or data models evolve.

- Design and maintain enterprise architecture solutions for IT-owned systems and platforms
