As a Senior Development Manager you will lead a cross-functional engineering team developing the next generation of Ping's SaaS products in the Identity and Access Management space. You will report to a Senior Director of Engineering and you will be involved in all phases of the application lifecycle including requirements, development, test, and delivery. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a cross-functional team of 8 developers responsible for SaaS and hybrid multi-tenant products.

- Manage recruitment, training, and building an accomplished and effective software development team.

- Contribute technically to the team: Provide design and code reviews, and contribute to the codebase yourself.

- Lead the forecasting, allocation, and management of capital and people investments.

- Work with product management to determine product requirements and definitions.

- Assist your team in responding quickly in the event of unforeseen production issues. - On-call may be a requirement for this position

You have:

- Experience hiring and leading outstanding engineers.

- Experience leading Agile teams and planning processes.

- CI/CD commercial cloud architecture and delivery experience.

- Minimum of 2 years experience leading "Software as a Service" teams and processes.

- Minimum of 5 years experience directly managing development teams, creating and delivering successful commercial products to the market.

- Proven ability to coordinate across teams including product development, product management, and customer services for the design, development, test, delivery, and support of products.

- Expertise in Java, Cassandra, Kafka, Amazon Web Services, and Kubernetes, or an equivalent enterprise-grade software stack.
