What You’ll Do
- collaborate with engineers, product teams, and analysts to create self-serve insight products that are fast, accurate, and elastic at a petabyte-scale
- work across the full data product lifecycle: designing new tracking plans, developing data models, ELT pipelines, and self-serve insight products like Looker explores and dashboards
- own data quality and ensure metrics are defined and reported consistently across all data products
- use cutting-edge data technologies, including BigQuery, dbt, and Looker, to develop scalable analytics solutions
- apply historical and predictive analytics tools, including BQML, to identify trends and forecast player behavior
- partner with game product teams and cross-functional stakeholders to understand their needs, improve workflows, and inform product decisions
- contribute across the data stack and full data-product lifecycle while developing expertise in specific areas
What We’re Looking For
- experience with modern data stack tools such as BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Airflow, GitHub, and command-line workflows, or a willingness to learn them
- strong SQL skills and at least three years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is welcome
- ability to translate business needs into effective analytics solutions
- understanding of data modeling concepts, including star schemas and structured datasets
- ability to balance business context, continuous improvement, and technical quality when designing solutions
- collaborative approach and ability to build positive working relationships across teams
- clear communication skills, including confidence in asking questions and sharing ideas
- ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on quality and outcomes
- interest in learning and developing skills across the data workflow and technology stack
- Interest or hands-on experience with AI-assisted tools, such as LLMs, agents, or workflow automation, to improve analytics workflows and team productivity is a plus, not a requirement
