About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering team at Taskrabbit and help improve the reliability, scalability, and operational maturity of our engineering platform.

The SRE team sits within Engineering and partners closely with Cloud Infrastructure, Developer Productivity, Security, Architecture, and application engineering teams to keep our production systems reliable, scalable, and resilient.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex production challenges, building automation, and improving how systems operate at scale. You'll work across applications and infrastructure to investigate reliability issues, strengthen observability and incident response, and build tools and practices that make our systems easier and safer to run.

At the Senior level, we expect you to independently own complex technical problems, collaborate effectively across teams, and help drive lasting improvements to production reliability.

What You'll Do

- Improve production reliability. Partner with engineering teams to define and evolve SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and availability, latency, and capacity targets. Identify reliability risks and implement improvements that make our production systems more resilient.

- Strengthen observability and incident response. Improve telemetry, alerting, dashboards, and on-call practices. Reduce noisy or unactionable alerts and turn incident learnings into lasting improvements.
