Your Role:

- Solve some of the team’s toughest technical problems and build solutions that hold up as the product grows.

- Partner with product managers, architects, and other engineers on technical approach and planning, contributing perspectives that can extend beyond your immediate area when it’s useful.

- Act as a go-to technical resource for complex design and architecture questions, helping ensure solutions hold up against business needs, compliance standards, and long-term maintainability.

- Take ownership of the most complex technical issues that come up in your systems, driving root cause analysis and fixes that hold up over time.

- Mentor other engineers through code review, design discussions, and everyday guidance, helping raise the technical bar around you.

- Bring a high bar to your own code and design work, and help others do the same through thoughtful review and knowledge sharing.

Your Opportunity:

- Take deep ownership of significant, technically demanding components, and help evolve core infrastructure so it stays reliable and scalable as the product grows.

- Work with a high degree of independence on complex technical initiatives - some of which may touch multiple systems or teams - from design through delivery.

- Help shape automation, testing, and deployment practices that raise the bar for reliability and velocity.

- Own complex projects from design through delivery, and contribute meaningfully to the thinking behind them - including, at times, decisions that touch the product itself, not just the implementation.

What You'll Need:

- BSc in Computer Science or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution, or an exceptional track record in server-side development with advanced technical expertise.

- 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a demonstrated ability to take on complex, ambiguous problems independently and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.

- Deep expertise in one or more programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Java, Go, Python, with an ability to adapt to new technologies as needed.
