Voy is a healthcare platform led by clinicians. We support people managing long-term health conditions with treatment plans backed by real evidence.

Founded in 2018, we started as MANUAL, focusing on hair loss, weight loss and men’s health. As we grew, we realised we could help more people. In 2025, we became Voy and expanded into more areas of health, including female hair loss, testosterone, menopause, dermatology and diagnostics with Do Health.

Today, Voy has around 750,000 active customers and has treated more than 2 million people since we began. We work across the UK, Germany, Brazil and India to make a new future of healthcare a reality. We’re approaching $1bn in ARR and have grown more than 100% year on year, every year since inception. At Voy, we let the evidence do the talking. In a published study of over 100,000 people, those who reached 12 months in the Voy programme and stayed engaged lost up to 24% of their body weight.

VOY is a fast growing Healthtech scale-up, aiming to be the healthcare provider that millions of people trust as their partner to a long and healthy life. Our platform allows users to quickly and safely diagnose possible conditions, get treatment and support them afterwards to live a higher quality life. To do this we are building an all in one healthcare platform which brings together world leading medical expertise and technical excellence.

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our growing global team and contribute to our mission to improve our patients' health and their lives

What you’ll do

Develop scalable & reliable systems

- Develop core functionality for our own customer-facing and internal products, systems and data platforms, and e-commerce capabilities using modern frameworks

- Develop extensible platforms and architectures that make it possible to quickly and efficiently launch new products and lines of business

- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems

- Develop the APIs powering the web & mobile platforms for our product portfolio

Drive impact in a team environment

- You’ll work with other software engineers, designers, QAs, product managers, business stakeholders and domain experts

- You’ll drive impact and own your work end-to-end - from scoping & planning, architectural design decisions, implementation and testing, to production deployment and operations.
