About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer who thrives under pressure and is eager to solve complex problems. You should have experience in backend engineering, with expertise in Python and AWS. If you want to be on the front lines of building AI-driven solutions that push the boundaries of what technology can do, this is your opportunity. You'll be responsible for developing robust, scalable backend systems that form the backbone of our virtual sales agents. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

Responsibilities

- Design and Implement Back-End Systems: Build and maintain scalable and reliable backend systems using Python and AWS. The code you write will be at the heart of our platform, and it needs to be bulletproof. Expect to be held to high standards of quality, performance, and scalability.

- API Development: Develop RESTful APIs to connect front-end and back-end components seamlessly. You will work closely with our front-end and mobile development teams to ensure every request is optimized and every interaction is flawless.

- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS. Ensure systems are ready for quick recovery and downtime is minimized.

- Data Management: Develop efficient data storage solutions and data pipelines that support AI models. Collaborate with the data science team to ensure they have reliable access to the data they need.

- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers to integrate new features and maintain system cohesion.

- Ensure Security and Compliance: Implement secure authentication, data privacy measures, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Security is paramount in everything we do.

- Optimize System Performance: Continuously monitor and optimize system performance to ensure high availability and low latency.
