Role Overview
We’re hiring a Senior/Staff Product Engineer for our Cards team in London. You’ll own problems end-to-end across our payments infrastructure: tokenisation, card network integrations, 3DS and dispute management. That runs from customer conversations, through API design, to production code and measuring whether it worked. You’ll lead by example: mentoring, raising the bar and owning technical direction, staying hands-on the whole time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building core payments infrastructure, including tokenisation, network integrations, 3DS and dispute management
- Designing developer-facing APIs, SDKs and primitives that developers enjoy using
- Building high-throughput, distributed systems that handle millions of card transactions
- Working directly with customers to understand their payment stacks, debug integrations and shape the roadmap
