What is a day in the life of a Senior Software Engineer? - Primarily engage in back-end development with potential for some front-end development

- Contribute to both maintenance (30-40%) and new feature development (60-70%)

- Participate in two-week sprints using ClickUp for project management

- Collaborate with product managers on sprint planning and contribute to technical and product roadmaps

- Have opportunities to learn and work with new technologies to solve complex ecommerce challenges

What will I need to thrive in this role? - 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on back-end development

- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails; experience with Python, Go, ReactJS, or Java is a plus

- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and strong proficiency in SQL

- Proven ability to contribute to development projects and work independently with minimal supervision

- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance software development processes and improve code quality

- Strong engineering fundamentals, adaptability, and a desire to learn
