Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support the design, integration, deployment, and optimization of secure, high-performance network solutions. This role involves configuring and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure, supporting mission-critical operations, and collaborating across engineering teams to ensure scalable and reliable connectivity.

What You’ll Do

- Design, configure, integrate, test, and support secure network solutions

- Deploy and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and boundary devices

- Optimize network performance, throughput, scalability, and reliability

- Monitor and troubleshoot network issues using tools such as WhatsUpGold and NetFlow

- Support WAN/LAN architectures and high-speed network topologies

- Collaborate with systems engineering and cross-functional teams to define and implement requirements

- Analyze network traffic and develop firewall rule sets

- Support security planning, risk analysis, and implementation of secure architectures

- Validate network dataflows, interfaces, and security device configurations

- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support large-scale engineering efforts

Core Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field

- Additional network engineering experience may substitute for degree requirements

- 5+ years of experience supporting complex network engineering programs or contracts

- Experience configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, and firewalls

- Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools including WhatsUpGold and NetFlow

- Knowledge of secure network design and boundary protection solutions

- Experience optimizing network performance and minimizing latency

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise network environments
