YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITY This is a hands-on backend role with end-to-end ownership:

Design and deploy features that power real-time, high-throughput services handling millions of daily orders.

Drive architectural decisions at the service or domain level, formalizing them through ADRs, RFCs, and design docs to establish a foundation for the team.

Operate what you build: Participate in on-call rotations, attend incident reviews, and drive measurable improvements in reliability, latency, and operational efficiency.

Collaborate across boundaries: Partner with Product, Data, and cross-functional teams to execute high-impact initiatives.

Contribute to engineering practices: Testing strategy, CI/CD, observability, monitoring, AI Adoption

QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR -

Practical Knowledge: Proficient in OOP, DDD, design patterns, clean code, refactoring, unit and integration testing,

Experience: 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, Go, C#, Kotlin, or NodeJS,

Database Management: Experience with relational and non-relational database management systems such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Couchbase, Redis, and etc.,

Messaging Patterns: Experience with messaging patterns like Saga and Outbox, and message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.,

Distributed Systems: Preferably experienced in fault-tolerant and loosely coupled distributed architectures, service-to-service communication, idempotency, eventual consistency,
