Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Capabilities - Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements

- Contributing to cutting edge development programs and designing new solutions

- Innovating RF signal processing applications

- Developing analytics, visualization and discovery tools

- Integrating new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors

- Reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.

- Resolves software problem reports.

- Providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components

Required Qualifications - TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly

- No demonstrated experience is required

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required

- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree

Required Technical Skills - Proficiency working in Linux development environments

- Proficiency coding in Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript

Desired Technical Skills - Experience with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) programming

- Experience with geospatial processing

- Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays

- Experience with GitLab, GitHub, or similar version control tools

- Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools
