About the role

We’re looking for an Android Developer with deep Android development experience to help build and evolve our mobile product. You’ll own features from initial idea through release, make technical decisions, and work closely with product, design, and backend teams. We value autonomy, high agency, and high energy: engineers who take initiative, solve problems, and keep work moving.

What you’ll do

-Own complex Android features end to end, including technical design, implementation, testing, release, and iteration. -Build polished interfaces with Jetpack Compose and the Android View system. -Design and evolve the network layer, including API integration, authentication, error handling, retries, and caching. -QA your own work: validate user flows, visual details, and edge cases across supported devices, screen sizes, and Android versions, and resolve issues before shipping. -Improve app performance, reliability, and maintainability, with attention to startup time, responsiveness, memory usage, and battery consumption. -Contribute to product decisions and work with designers to refine user flows and interactions. -Raise engineering quality through code reviews, technical guidance, and improvements to development practices.
