Why this role matters
A mid‑level software engineer focused on production test automation. This person will work first on RAVEN (our in-house production test automation and procedure framework project), then expand to broader Smart Manufacturing Engineering (SME) work integrating software with electronic test equipment and stations.
This is a role for someone who’s Strong in Advanced Python, Linux, automation frameworks and lab instruments, and who is motivated by keeping real hardware tests reliable for operators on the production floor.
In the near term, a significant part of the role involves supporting and stabilizing production test stations, diagnosing failures, and improving operator reliability. Over time, the role shifts toward more proactive development of reusable automation, tooling, and test infrastructure.
