Please note, this role is 5 days/week on-site in NYC.

THE ROLE

As a Junior/Mid-level Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work directly with enterprise customers to understand their needs and build the software that connects Legora to their systems and workflows.

You'll build integrations and contribute to Legora's core product, taking defined projects from technical scoping through implementation, testing, and production delivery. You'll learn to turn customer needs into practical engineering solutions, with support from experienced engineers on more complex architecture and delivery decisions.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role within Enterprise Engineering. You'll work closely with product engineers, Legal Engineers, and Engagement Managers, building your technical judgment and customer-facing skills while taking increasing ownership of delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Work with enterprise customers and your team to understand workflows, clarify requirements, and translate customer needs into engineering tasks.

- Build, test, and ship integrations and product changes, taking ownership of defined projects from implementation through deployment.

- Explain technical decisions clearly, ask useful questions, and keep customers and teammates informed about progress and blockers.

- Work with experienced engineers on design reviews and technical tradeoffs, seeking support early when requirements or risks are unclear.

- Debug issues across Legora and customer systems, using logs, tests, and systematic investigation to find and resolve problems.
