MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams. More than 15,000 customers, including McDonalds, Michaels, Cintas, Redimix, and U.S. LBM, use MaintainX to cut unplanned downtime and run better operations, across 16 million managed assets and 92 million completed work orders.

In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions https://adsknews.autodesk.com/en/views/inside-autodesk-operations-solutions/, the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Platform & Infrastructure keeps everything else fast, reliable and easy to build on. We own the shared services every product team builds on top of (identity, search, communication and our Pantry design system), the tooling that makes our engineers productive, and the release and runtime foundations that let us ship with confidence. Build it once, and every team benefits.

TEAMS YOU MIGHT JOIN

- Product Foundation: Identity, communication, search and Pantry, including the Integrations Marketplace, Global Search and the Pantry Design System.

- Developer Productivity: Internal tooling and IDE plugins that make every engineer faster.

- Release + Runtime and Testing: CI/CD, SRE, FedRAMP compliance and QA. This team leans more toward infrastructure and reliability.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

- Build and evolve the shared services and components that other teams depend on.

- Design APIs, tools and design system components that other engineers want to use, and support teams as they adopt them.

- Improve the speed, safety and reliability of how we build, test and ship software.

- Treat internal engineers as your customers: gather feedback, measure adoption and iterate.

THE ROLE

- Ship features end to end, from planning through production.

- Partner directly with Product Managers, Designers, and the engineers who build on your work to shape your team's roadmap, not just execute against it.

- Own a feature area or system's long-term health: reliability, performance, and the parts of the codebase nobody notices until they break.

- Review code and mentor other developers on your team.

- Raise the bar on tooling, testing, and delivery practices.

Our core stack is TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MySQL. Some teams use C# or Python. You don't need to already know every piece of it to apply. You'll land on a team of 5 to 10 people and take on-call rotation as part of the role. Within your first 6 months, you'll own a feature area or system outright.
