3ive | Senior/Staff Software Engineer | REMOTE (Europe) | Full-time | Python, TypeScript, React, AI Agents We’re building Cursor for mechanical engineering. Imagine an AI that doesn’t just answer questions about a mechanical design, but can actually understand CAD models, work with geometry, and help engineers create and modify real designs. That’s what we’re building. It’s a hard engineering problem. We’re combining AI agents, CAD, computational geometry, and interactive software into a product engineers can rely on. We’re a small but mighty team looking for an exceptional, hands-on Senior/Staff Engineer to help build it. Think founding engineer in terms of ownership. You’ll help shape our agent and backend architecture, solve challenging problems across the stack, and establish the engineering foundations as we grow. We’re looking for someone who’s built ambitious products, ideally at startups or scaleups, and has the technical depth to figure things out when there’s no obvious solution. Ideally, you have experience with CAD, 3D geometry, or engineering software, alongside strong software engineering fundamentals. Experience building AI agents is a big plus.
