THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to lead one of our core product engineering teams. This role combines deeply involved technical leadership with people management, requiring someone who can build high-performing teams while maintaining our focus on delivering exceptional user experiences. You’ll drive business-critical initiatives, grow a high-performing engineering team, and work cross-functionally to deliver outcomes that move the company forward.
You’ll play a key role in turning strategic goals into shipped product—combining technical leadership, strong execution, and product thinking to ensure we’re building the right things in the right way. This role is ideal for someone who leads with clarity, values ownership, and is energized by building alongside a kind, collaborative team.
This is not a pure people-management role, but a high-leverage leadership position that demands technical depth and strong product intuition.
This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco or New York City with in-office attendance of three days per week.
WHAT YOU’LL DRIVE
Product Outcomes and Technical Strategy
- Own business-critical initiatives by partnering with Product and Design to define and deliver work that creates real user and business value
- Translate company strategy into clear, actionable technical plans with measurable outcomes
- Prioritize the highest-impact work and create focus within the team even when goals are evolving
- Lead effectively in ambiguity by structuring complex problem spaces and creating alignment around what matters most
Technical Execution and Decision-Making
- Guide architectural thinking and support strong technical decisions without becoming a bottleneck
- Help the team balance delivery speed with technical sustainability
- Set a high bar for quality by encouraging craftsmanship, operational rigor, and scalable thinking
