- Support legacy production applications while contributing to incremental modernization and maintainability improvements.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, database objects, and data-access components using PostgreSQL.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, defect resolution, release preparation, deployment validation, and production support.
- Work within AWS-hosted environments and established continuous integration and continuous delivery processes using Jenkins and GitHub.
You must have:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of relevant software development experience.
- Experience maintaining and enhancing legacy production systems on a federal program, including working within formal security, release, change-control, and operational-support processes.
- Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills are important, as the developer will need to balance new development with production stability and continuity of service.
