About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer (Java & React) to join our product team working on Appfire’s Workflow and Automation solutions, used by thousands of companies worldwide. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to build and improve reliable, scalable products that help customers automate their workflows. Our teams work in an agile and lean environment, with small, empowered Scrum teams, effective sprints, and a strong focus on ownership and continuous improvement. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to our SaaS architecture and help shape the future of our cloud solutions.
What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain product features using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and frontend applications that support our Workflow and Automation solutions.
- Ensure high code quality through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other development teams to deliver features that address customer needs.
- Contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of our cloud-based SaaS architecture.
- Help build reliable, scalable, and secure solutions, considering performance, concurrency, caching, and authorization.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, including providing technical support for our customers.
- Share knowledge, contribute to team discussions, and support continuous learning and improvement across the development team.
What you'll need:
- Minimum 3 years of solid commercial experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot, including developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Strong practical experience with TypeScript and Node.js, particularly for backend logic, serverless functions, or API resolvers.
- Strong frontend development experience with React, including modern state management solutions such as Redux or TanStack Query and routing.
- Practical understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and application architecture.
- Experience writing automated tests, including unit and integration tests, and familiarity with tools such as JUnit 5, Mockito, Vitest, or Playwright.
