About the role
NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It's a unique legacy of innovation that's fueled by great technology and amazing people. Today, we're tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. An era in which our GPU serves as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars, enabling them to understand the world.
As an NVIDIAN, you'll be immersed in a supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced software engineer to ensure the reliable integration and deployment of components within our complex Kubernetes-based software stack that powers the world's most powerful AI factories.
What you'll be doing:
- Implement and improve integration among software components: design, implement, and maintain automated deployment for the components, including writing robust, reusable code.
- Manage 3rd party dependency versions and upgrades, validate compatibility, and address breaking changes.
- Define and maintain validation workflows to ensure the correctness of component integration. This implies close work with QA and CI/CD teams.
- Ensure the integration works on the latest NVIDIA hardware technologies.
- Troubleshoot cross-component issues and collaborate with development teams and upstream projects to resolve them.
What we need to see:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of proven experience in software development on Linux platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
- Proficiency in Python with a focus on developing clean efficient code.
- Strong ability to collaborate across teams.
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Our cluster management software is based on Linux. You should be experienced with Linux networking and security concepts.
- You are familiar with the most common software included in a typical Linux server installation.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Proficiency with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible)
- Experience with highly scalable distributed systems and system administration.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools to enhance developer productivity.
