About the role
We're building a new standalone product inside FTMO for the US market. It runs like a startup, backed by FTMO. The first version is live with real users, built together with an external partner. Now we're bringing it in-house, and you'd be one of the first engineers on a small, senior team.
We work AI-native. Coding agents write most of the code, and we spend our time on specifying, verifying, and owning what ships. If that's already how you work, keep reading.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Ship full stack, end to end. Trader-facing app, back office, APIs, from idea to production.
- Bring your depth. Everyone works full stack, but each of us is the go-to person for one area: frontend, backend, or cloud and DevOps. You raise the bar there for the whole team.
- Take over and improve an existing codebase. Learn it fast with your agents, then make it yours.
- Run what you build. You own your features in production: monitoring, incidents, and fixes, not a hand-off to someone else.
- Work with vendors directly. A third-party trading engine, live market data feeds, payment and KYC providers. You talk to their engineers, not through a chain of managers.
- Shape how we build. Your agent setup, test loops, and conventions become the team's.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Senior engineer with real production ownership: you've shipped, run, and fixed systems people rely on.
- About a year working AI-native, mainly by directing coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar), not only autocomplete.
- Your harness, shown. Agent configs, CLAUDE.md http://CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md http://AGENTS.md files, evals, test loops, MCP integrations or repos. We'll ask to see it.
- Full stack, with senior depth in one area. You're comfortable across TypeScript, backend (Node.js / NestJS), and frontend (React), and you're senior in one of: - Frontend: React, UX and performance, real-time interfaces - Backend: API and domain design, event-driven systems, integrations where money moves - Cloud & DevOps: GCP, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, reliability
- Verification discipline. You write the tests that catch what the agent got wrong, especially where money moves.
- English B2+. Czech is strongly preferred.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in trading, betting, fintech, or another regulated, money-handling domain
- Kafka or other event streaming
- Integrating third-party engines, payment providers, or market-data feeds
- Deep HubSpot integrations (APIs, webhooks, custom objects, data sync)
- Products for the US market
OUR STACK
TypeScript, NestJS, React, Google Cloud, Kafka, plus whatever agents and tooling make us faster.
WHAT WE OFFER
- A senior, small team with real ownership, and FTMO's stability behind it
- Hybrid: 3 office / 2 home
