The DevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to implement, maintain, and enhance critical DevOps processes. This position supports the automation of software development processes while ensuring the performance, scalability, security, and reliability of cloud-based and on-premises systems. The DevOps Engineer will leverage automation tools, technologies, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices to support efficient and reliable software delivery.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Automate software build, integration, testing, and deployment processes.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD scripts, toolchains, and pipelines within .NET and Azure environments.

- Implement and maintain version control systems and processes to support continuous deployment and zero-downtime releases.

- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to develop and maintain configuration mgmt strategies.

- Support risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit processes related to software development and deployment.

- Promote continuous delivery practices and a culture of automation across teams.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure resilient, scalable, and maintainable deployment environments.

- Provide advanced technical support for build and deployment pipelines across multiple development projects.

- Maintain artifact repositories to support automated software deployment and release mgmt.

- Monitor Microsoft Azure resource utilization, costs, and budgets, identifying opportunities for cost optimization.

- Support the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.

- Identify opportunities to improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, and operational performance.

- Other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

Experience or Knowledge

- Five or more years of experience in information technology roles, including software development, infrastructure, or DevOps.

- Two or more years of experience with DevOps tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, Nexus, Artifactory, NPM, and Datadog.

- 3+ years of experience with version control systems, including Git, SVN, and Azure DevOps.
